Have you ever dreamed of walking an historic trail in the US or Europe from start to finish? Thru-hiker Craig Bacino will share his tales, photos and advice based on his experiences walking the Via Francigena, a medieval pilgrimage and commercial route that crosses western Europe; the Via from Canterbury to Rome; as well as the Appalachian Trail and Camino de Santiago.

A Helena resident, Bacino has been a forestry technician, artist, geographer, cartographer, programmer, and language teacher abroad. Now retired, he has the time and inclination to walk across countries, sleeping in his tent, in hostels, and in backyards and attics, and loves to talk with the locals as he goes.
The social hour with cash bar begins at 5.30 p.m. to be followed by the dinner and program.

The menu, prepared by Executive Chef Mike McWilliams, will feature garlic shrimp with red chili; arugula salad with pine nuts, goat cheese, strawberry, and balsamic; Italian sausage lasagna; & Tarta de Santiago.

The cost is $35 per person; gratuity is not included.
